Sorting Classes

Start at 9am

60 second clock

1 go - top ten back if less than 50 teams

1 go - top 20 back if 50 or more teams

5 ride limit in all sorting classes / change 1 rider rule applies

Sorting Running Order

Sorting #10 (5 Ride limit/no cap) $30 Rider

Sorting #6 (5 Ride limit/no cap) $30 Rider

Sorting #3 (5 Ride limit/no cap) $25 Rider

SWTPA will use a lap timer to determine the time of the last cow through the gate. This will eliminate ties and allow us to bring back the top ten or top twenty based on your time, not just the number of cows.

Penning Classes

start no earlier than noon

60 second clock on Pro-Am #15, Pro-Am-Nov #11, and Amateur #10.

75 second clock on Novice #5

75 second clock on Youth (Youth class has a 4 cow rule)

All penning classes are progressive( you must pen to proceed)

2 goes then top ten (except Draw is one go top ten)

3 ride limit

SWTPA uses the 3 cow rule ( no more than 3 cows across the line) in all classes except youth which are still the 4 cow rule.

DRAW (3 ride limit) $20 Rider

Youth(3 Ride limit) $10 Rider

Amateur #10 (3 Ride limit 4 cap) $30 Rider

Novice (Pick 1 / Draw 2 or Pick 2 / Draw 1 or Draw 3) $30 Rider
